SafeLine version

9.4.2

Bug description

What happened:
In statistics page, geolocation statistics doesn't show anything

Image

What did you expect:
The map & stats to appear.

Note

Downgraded from 9.4.2 to 9.4.1 fixed the issue. It showed historical data (older requests)

Image

Querying DB directly on 9.4.2 also showed requests with correct geolocation data + attacks/robot challenges logs showed the IPs & geolocation. Issue is probably only with map.
Geo.js script doesnt get downloaded at all in 9.4.2. Where in 9.4.1 it shows (By Checking network traffic). It might be related.

Steps to reproduce (if available)

  1. Have an application enabled
  2. Make some requests to any existing application
  3. Go to statistics page
  4. statistics doesnt show geolocation numbers

Logs or screenshots (optional)

Hello, this issue was caused by changes to the related module after upgrading to v9.4.2. It has now been fixed.

You can resolve it by following these steps:

  1. Stop the running safeline-mgt container.
  2. Remove the old local safeline-mgt image.
  3. Pull the latest image using docker pull.
  4. Restart the service.

After completing these steps, the geolocation data on the page should display normally. If the issue persists, feel free to reply to this thread and we’ll help investigate further.
